Cannons Don't Sink Ships...

Just for fun project.
Client me-self Date December 2011

I'm currently reading a book about pirates in the East Indian Ocean in the late 1600's. What I most like about the book is its rich description of the African coast and the Arabian Princes that inhabited that coastline, from south of Madagascar, all the way to the north, to modern day Oman and Saudi Arabia. It seemed like a beautiful but harsh culture that favored the powerful and rich. The story itself is obviously fiction but the author uses rich imagery in both his seafaring scenes and interactions with the Arabian people. The book is called Monsoon by Wilbur Smith. And this piece is nothing more then the fact that I was thinking of pirates and wanting to use this color scheme...
